What is Double Fusion?
Standard fusion merges two base animals (such as Fox + Wasp). Double Fusion merges two existing, saved hybrids together, resulting in a hybrid with four ancestral components.
- Cost: Each Double Fusion attempt consumes 1 Fusion Token.
- Result Potential: Double Fusion breaks through the 10-star barrier, allowing creatures to achieve 11, 12, and higher star ratings.
- Example: Combining a (Cheeseburger + Stingray) hybrid with a (Stegosaurus + Wasp) hybrid creates the legendary Stegosebungray, yielding 12 stars and $1,540/s!
Variant Tiers: Standard, Golden, Diamond & Iridescent
When fusing any combination, the game rolls for a potential cosmetic and statistical mutation:
- Standard: The base output with normal coloring.
- Golden Shiny: Gives the creature a glowing gold metallic skin and adds approximately +1 to +2 stars and a 2x-4x income multiplier.
- Diamond Shiny: Gives a crystalline blue appearance with high income scaling.
- Iridescent Shiny: The rarest roll on record, displaying shifting rainbow highlights and massive $/s boosts (up to $1.54K/s).
Common Token & Variant Pitfalls
- Do Not Waste Tokens on Low-Star Hybrids: Double Fusion consumes valuable Fusion Tokens. Never fuse two 3-star starters; always fuse 8★ to 10★ hybrids to ensure the outcome breaks double-digit stars.
- Shop Charms vs Shiny Rolls: Charms purchased in the shop (such as Jade Charm, Celestial Charm, or Divine Charm) provide specific boost effects and are separate items—they do not directly dictate which visual Shiny skin rolls on the pedestal.
